Proposed Water Conservation Plan
The City of Westminster has developed a proposed Water Conservation Plan that will be submitted to Westminster City Council and the Colorado Water Conservation Board for approval.
Water conservation has been a priority for Westminster for many years and is a critical component of the city's water supply. While current water use in Westminster is at efficient levels, opportunities exist for saving additional water, thereby reducing the need to purchase new water supplies.
The Conservation Plan contains historic and current information on the city’s water use and water systems as well as goals for identified future water conservation programs.
The city recently completed a comprehensive water supply review, setting conservation goals based on Westminster's plan for future development and the water required to meet current and future needs.
The Conservation Plan can be seen as a road map to meeting the established conservation goals.
The Plan is available for public review, and comments may be submitted using the form below. All comments must be received by Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
For questions about the plan, please contact Stu Feinglas, water resources analyst, at 303-658-2386 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
