Waste and Recycling
Each person in the United States generates approximately 4.4 pounds of municipal solid waste per day and Coloradans generate more than twice this amount, averaging 9.3 pounds per person per day. All this waste must go somewhere, and unfortunately, our environment often suffers from this ever-increasing waste stream we generate. By choosing to prevent waste and recycle, you can help protect our environment.
