City Council Outreach
Westminster's elected officials are committed to being open and accessible. In addition to being available at City Council's regularly scheduled meetings, the mayor and councillors regularly connect with residents in the community at specific City Council outreach events.

City Council Service Day
This year, your City Council is volunteering in the community at one of our local non-profit organizations, Growing Home, to help with their Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway. Last year over 330 families benefitted from this volunteer-led initiative. To learn more about Growing Home and their volunteer opportunities, click here.
Westminster Police Department's Santa Cops
In the spirit of the holidays, City Council will be helping to wrap presents for the children of the Westminster PD Santa Cops program. Every year, Santa Cops sponsors around 100 local kids whose families are struggling around the holiday season, providing them with clothing and toys to open at Christmas. The children are nominated by police officers who meet them during calls for service, and gifts are delivered by the officers at Christmas time. The funding for the program comes from toy drives, partnership with KYGO Christmas Crusade for Children, and fundraising from the PD’s Alumni Association.
