Westminster's Street Operations Division provides the following services:

Pothole Reporting

CDOT maintained roadways within Westminster are listed below and on a map.

All potholes on these roadways should be reported to CDOT at 303-759-2368 or submit an online request to info@dot.state.co.us. 

  • 120th Avenue from Sheridan Boulevard to I-25
  • Wadsworth Parkway from 88th Avenue north to 108th Avenue
  • Federal Boulevard from 68th Avenue north to 120th Avenue
  • US 36 (Boulder Turnpike)
  • Sheridan Boulevard from 69th Avenue north to 88th Place

Street Lights

Outages or repairs of street lights within Westminster city limits can be reported directly to Xcel Energy at 1-800-895-4999 or submit an online request, or email us at streets@cityofwestminster.us and we will forward the information on to Xcel Energy for you.

Street Sweeping Map

Citywide street sweeping rotations are scheduled for February, April, July, October-December. *Residents are asked to assist the sweeping efforts by trimming tree branches to 12’ when they hang out over the curb/gutter.  Sweepers will not clean areas where branches are low and will touch/scrape the sweeper.

Snow and Ice Control

Westminster’s goal during any snowstorm is to keep primary and secondary streets open and safe for the public. In addition, priorities are given to streets adjacent to hospitals, police, fire/rescue squad stations, schools, RTD bus routes and dangerous intersections, hills or curves on residential streets.

Residential streets only receive service snow accumulations are greater than 8 inches and after the above priorities are addressed.
