Other leadership positions and community involvement:

President of PTO parent teacher group at Witt Elementary previously Technology Chair in same group. As the president of the PTO my wife and I were afforded the honor to help fundraise for the Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park. We also were able to help volunteer man hours with our daughter to help lay material in the park. I also am actively a volunteer and member at Flat Irons Church in Lafayette.

1) Why are you the most qualified person for this office?  As a successful business professional, I have been able to confront diverse situations with common sense and best practice. I whole-heartedly feel that our government, set up of the people, by the people and for the people works best when citizens from all walks of life step up to make their voice heard and work alongside others regardless of party lines. As a native, I want to see this city continue to be the great city I was raised in, so I can hopefully see my children have the same opportunity to raise their families in such a wonderful place.

2) What is the most important issue facing Westminster and how will you address it?  I don’t see Westminster having a defining issue it faces. I think we need to look at our compensation for our great but aging police force to allow them to retire and attract quality individuals to keep our city safe. We have exciting work ahead of us as well with the mall redevelopment, historic sector revitalization and push for FasTracks. I look to address all these issues with my business and life experience with integrity, accountability and a sense of community that will benefit this great city.

3) What do you think the city does well and where do you see room for improvement? From our parks to our businesses to our neighborhoods, Westminster provides a fantastic quality of life for its residents. I feel we should always continue to improve the already great city we live in. As in all aspects in life there is always room for improvement.

4) What is your favorite thing about living in Westminster? My favorite thing about Westminster is it is where I met my wife. It is the city I share many life memories with and look forward to making many more.
