Walnut Creek Station Transit Oriented Development (TOD)

Where will the Walnut Creek Station TOD be located? The Walnut Creek Station TOD area is at the north end of the Shops at Walnut Creek shopping center overlooking the Lower Church Lake Open Space.

What is the vision for the Walnut Creek Station TOD? The Lower Church Lake Open Space to the north of the station would be reconfigured to bring the lake to the edge of the station, creating a one-of-a-kind lakeside setting. The proposed office buildings and restaurants south of the station would overlook the lake.

When will construction begin on the Walnut Creek Station TOD? The timing for the rail line is unknown since RTD does not currently have the funds for additional rail construction for the Northwest Rail Line north of the Westminster Station at 71st Avenue and Irving Street.
