The Planning Division is primarily responsible for the coordination and approval process for all proposed land development, and is involved in a number of special projects and long-term land use planning activities. The division also performs inspections and enforces development plans and processes to general zoning requests.

Beginning December 14, 2016, the Planning Division began accepting applications and document submittals online only. Requests for pre-application meetings will be processed, reviewed, and approved via the online permit manager.

As the Department of Community Development transitions to a completely online submittal, review, approval, and permitting system, the links on this page will be updated; however, during this transition please note that paper applications are for information only and provide the basic guidance for the project submittals. Paper applications will no longer be required beginning December 14, 2016 and instead, applicants are asked to utilize the online permit manager to apply for and track projects.
