Commuter Rail/Transit Oriented Development
Commuter rail is coming to South Westminster in 2016. RTD's FasTrack's project plans to bring three rail stations to Westminster.
In preparation for these stations, the City of Westminster is planning for redevelopment of the areas surrounding the stations, or Transit Oriented Development (TOD).

The transit oriented development area around the future Westminster Station consists of 135-acres bound by Federal Boulevard and Lowell Boulevard, 72nd Avenue and approximately 68th Avenue.
