Digital Submittal Standards

The City of Westminster requires that as a part of the development approval process, the applicant submits digital files of proposed improvements at the ODP approval stage and when the construction drawings are created. These files will be reviewed and translated into the city's GIS database. 

All projects shall be submitted in a digital format, either AutoCAD DXF, ESRI GIS shapefile or personal geodatabase version 9.0. AutoCAD version 2000 or greater is required. The files should be transmitted on CD or, if less than 5 Mb, through e-mail.

 

The entire project will be displayed on one sheet in the city's coordinate system (Colorado State Plane North Zone, NAD 1983 and North American Vertical Datum of 1988 - NAVD88, feet). All layers and control for the project must be aligned with the city's quarter section bearings (survey control documentation).

 

The files submitted in AutoCAD DXF format must adhere to the following naming conventions. Drawing files or other project components should not be included with this submittal.
