Herb Atchison was elected in 1997 to a two-year term, re-elected to a four-year term in 2003 and again in 2011.

He is a Project & Construction Management Consultant and has served as the Chairman of the Westminster Permits & License Board, and the Legacy Ridge West HOA Board Chairman.

Atchison has been a member of the Westminster 710 Rotary, a volunteer with the Westminster Public Safety Recognition Foundation, and a Westminster Parks Recreation & Libraries volunteer.
