Metro North Chamber of Commerce  
The Metro North Chamber is committed to the advancement of the business and economic interests of the Metro North community. The Chamber provides opportunities to assist in marketing businesses, to network with professionals from large and small companies, and to guide the direction of the Metro North community.

Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce 
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is the voice of the region's business community, focusing on: the coordination of metro area economic development activities, technical assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs, public affairs advocacy, visibility and networking, and the development of community trustees.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATIONS

Adams County Economic Development 
Adams County Economic Development (ACED) is a public/private partnership, which exists to improve the economy of Adams County. The mission of ACED is to assist primary employers in the creation of jobs and the infusion of capital investment in Adams County by providing demographic information, site selection, regulatory and financing assistance, Enterprise Zone administration, and retention program efforts.

Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation 
Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation (Jeffco EDC) is a public/private partnership representing Jefferson County's economic development interests. JEC fosters a spirit of community cooperation while planning and implementing economic development strategies. The council's experienced staff use a full-service approach that is technologically enhanced, providing products/services that support economic opportunity throughout the county.

Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation 
The Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation is the regional economic development entity focused on promoting business and economic development for the entire eight-county Metro Denver area.

TRAINING

Adams County Workforce and Business Center
Through partnership, Adams County One Stop Career Centers serve the diverse needs of employers, job seekers and other customers with access to high quality, comprehensive workforce development, employment and training services.

Colorado FIRST/Existing Industry Customized Training Programs 
Colorado FIRST grants are for companies relocating to Colorado or existing companies undertaking a major expansion. Existing Industry grants are designed for Colorado companies implementing new technology to remain competitive and keep jobs in the state. Approved training is for transferable job skills that support the company's economic competitiveness by re-training workers in new skills, while enhancing the workers' resumes and long-term employment opportunities.

Jefferson County Workforce Center 
Jefferson County Workforce Center is an innovative and comprehensive statewide job referral network funded through federal tax dollars. All services are free to employers and job seekers. The center serves Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin counties.

FINANCIAL RESOURCES

Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade 
This office offers a wide range of services to assist companies starting, expanding or relocating in Colorado. The mission of OED&IT is to foster a positive business climate that encourages quality economic development through financial and technical assistance.

Colorado Enterprise Fund
This nonprofit community development financial institution helps small businesses with loans up to $150,000 for entrepreneurs who are unable to obtain financing from traditional sources. An experienced staff provides management consulting and business training.

Colorado Lending Source
This private, nonprofit, community-based economic development organization assists business owners access long-term, FIXED rate financing for commercial real estate and equipment expansion projects. The mission of Colorado Lending Source (CLS) is to foster economic growth of diverse small businesses within the state of Colorado. CLS assists business owners who are investing in their communities (and thus broadening the tax base) and/or creating new jobs.

Prosper
People-to-people lending; an old idea that's new again. People who need money request it, and other people bid for the privilege of lending it to them. Prosper makes sure everything is safe, fair and easy.

Small Business Administration
Over the past 47 years, SBA has grown in terms of total assistance provided and its array of programs tailored to encourage small enterprises in all areas. SBA's programs include financial and federal contract procurement assistance, management assistance, and specialized outreach to women, minorities and armed forces veterans. The SBA also provides loans to victims of natural disasters and specialized advice and assistance in international trade.

CTEK's mission is to help entrepreneurs build profitable, sustainable businesses. CTEK has the largest volunteer business advisory network in the world, supporting entrepreneurs throughout Colorado.

SCORE - Counselors to America's Small Business 
The SCORE Association, Counselors to America's Small Business, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide.

Small Business Advancement National Center
The center maintains a research archive on its Web site containing information not easily found elsewhere. It includes PDF copies of conference papers and research from 18 organizations, including the Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the Marketing Management Association and the Small Business Institute. A free weekly newsletter is available.

Women's Business Ownership (WBO)
Small Business Administration District Office
WBO provides access for women entrepreneurs to a wide variety of resources and services ranging from specialized training in such areas as selling to the federal government and accessing capital to national information programs. WBO manages the Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training, a national, year-long mentor program linking seasoned women entrepreneurs with women whose businesses are ready to grow.

Veterans' Assistance Program
Small Business Administration District Office
Open to all veterans, this program provides assistance in management training programs, priority processing of loan applications, monitoring of loan and procurement activities, and coordinating training and counseling activities with other Small Business Administration departments. The SBA allocates a portion of agency direct loan funds to veterans.
