Voters elect Major, Lindsey, Kaiser to City Council; McNally returned as mayor

Voters returned the mayor and three incumbents to Westminster City Council during the November 3 election.

Mayor Nancy McNally, who was running unopposed, received 11,777 votes in her bid for a second term. Scott Major (8,476 votes), Mary Lindsey (8,328 votes) and Mark Kaiser (7,808 votes) also were returned to council for a second full term. All terms are for four years and will expire in November 2013.

The remaining vote tallies were Eric Fisher, 6,002, and Aurita Apodaca, 3,612.

The council was formally seated in November.
