MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the library is to provide materials and services to support lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, literacy, recreational reading, and access to information for all members of the Westminster community.
LOCATIONS
Library staff provide friendly and professional service to the community at two locations, the College Hill Library and the Irving Street Library. Anyone in the community can apply for a free library card.
The College Hill Library is a unique combination of public and academic library in north Westminster, built and operated jointly by the City of Westminster and Front Range Community College.
The library is located at the west end of the college campus and is open to everyone. Hours and location information appear to the right.
The Irving Street Library is a smaller neighborhood library that borders on the Irving Street Park and serves our south Westminster community. Hours and location information appear to the right.
LIBRARY COMPUTERS
Computers are available for use by community members and visitors. Both libraries provide free wired internet access on a first-come, first served basis with session times controlled by an electronic queueing system. Both libraries offer unlimited wireless access for patrons with mobile devices and laptops. Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are installed on most library computers. Library computers can be accessed with a valid library card or visitor day pass. Call 303-404-5104 for more information.
THE LIBRARY AND THE COMMUNITY
Our thanks to The Friends of the Westminster Public Library, who raise money to enhance Library services and fund library programs. Thanks also to the Park, Recreation and Library Board members for their interest in and support of quality library services.
The Library welcomes volunteers to help with a variety of projects. Contact the City's Volunteer Coordinator at 303-658-2159 for more information. Money, book and in-kind donations to the library are also appreciated.
