Westminster Parks
Westminster residents love the outdoors and have 2,900 acres of parks to enjoy. A total of 54 parks are located throughout the city, and each Westminster resident has a park within a half mile of their home. This includes our four-legged friends who can romp at the city's 300-acre Off-Leash Dog Park located at 105th Avenue and Simms Street or our newest dog park located at the Big Dry Creek Park.

Armed Forces Tribute Garden
Westminster has developed an Armed Forces Tribute Garden to honor those who serve in any branch of the Armed Services. The Tribute Garden is a unique addition to City Park and is located on 104th Avenue just west of the Christopher Fields softball complex. This permanent tribute includes a central water feature with a bronze sculpture, seating areas for each of the service branches, engraved bricks and beautiful landscaping.

Standley Lake Regional Park
At Standley Lake Regional Park, campers enjoy a new campground, and at the Standley Lake Nature Center, visitors can learn about the shoreline habits of nesting bald eagles. Other activities to enjoy at Standley Lake include boating, hiking, biking and fishing.

Reservable Park Pavilions
Most of the city's parks include covered pavilions, and the city currently has eight reservable park pavilions and one reservable outdoor amphitheatre, the Promenade Terrace.
